Building History
The rich and historical story of the Normandy building only adds to the enchanting character of the structure itself. Built in the early-mid 1800s, legend has it that the Normandy building was originally a brothel before it was transformed into Garvey’s Hotel in 1871. In 1889 Mr. Garvey sold his hotel, it was at this time the building was given its present name and restored as the Normandy Inn restaurant. It remained a restaurant until its final transformation in 1989 as an office complex.
